Personal Designer Checks

In Britain the checks (or cheques as they are known there) leave a lot to be desired. They are designed by the banks and are dreary to a degree. But in the US where we can have checks with flair and panache it is silly not to take advantage of this.

I have been thinking about my personalized checks, and what I would really like. Perhaps I will take some of those postcards that can be bought in art galleries and use Renoir or Van Gogh as the basis for my bank checks in future

Do We Need To Order Checks Online?

Yes we do. Although we seem to be moving inexorably towards a cashless society when all financial transactions will be done by credit card or debit card, and cash moved around by Internet transfer, for the time being at least there is still some sanity. For the present there is still a requirement to write checks, and therefor we will need a stock of them at home, in the office or wherever.

Personal checks can be the most elaborate designs, but it seems to be that the most popular are a whole variety of Disney type characters, or cartoon characters at least. I am not sure why this should be. Perhaps it is just that paying bills is not the most exciting of activities, so if the check can put a smile on your face, it will make you feel less grim at the the thought of your diminishing bank balance!

It has never been easier to order checks online - and there is such a variety. I had no idea until quite recently how simple it was to have a designer check just by filling in a form.

People write checks for a variety of reasons, but it must be nice to be able to make someone smile when they receive your offering written over the top of Superman - or Donal Duck - or Bambi.

Business checks are more exciting too, and although they tend to be less flamboyant than the personal variety, it is still possible to personalize them in a way that just makes life more interesting.
